This cute set turns the key elements of picture composition into a fun fast-food meal concept, helping children remember what to include in their writing. Instead of feeling lost when they look at a composition picture, students can use the McCompo system to plan their story step by step and enrich their writing with suitable phrases and sentences.

The newly revamped version includes a McCompo Pictograph, composition checklists for P3–P4 and P5–P6, and 74 front-and-back cut-out Visual Cards featuring fun categories such as Fries, Patty, Lettuce, Soda and more. Each card contains useful 好词好句 (good words & phrases) that students can use in their compositions.

Unlike traditional phrase lists printed on plain worksheets, these visual cards make learning composition phrases more engaging and memorable. Each card is designed with colourful illustrations and a clear visual theme, helping children connect phrases to situations, actions, emotions, and story details more easily.

Each Visual Card also comes with Hanyu Pinyin and English translations, making it easier for children to understand, revise, and use the phrases independently.

For the Patty Cards, which represent emotions, students will learn 14 different emotions. Each emotion comes with 4 sentence options arranged by difficulty level, so children can choose a sentence that best matches their current writing standard.
